Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics at The University of Alabama, advised by Prof. Mojdeh Rasoulzadeh. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees in Mathematics from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh, and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from The University of Alabama.
My research focuses on anomalous transport of deformable particles in porous media, with applications to microplastic fibers. I study how geometric heterogeneity and temporal memory influence particle migration, retention, and arrival times. My work combines stochastic modeling, semi-analytical methods, and scientific computing.
I previously served as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics for more than a decade at universities in Bangladesh. I now serve as an Instructor of Record at The University of Alabama, where I teach undergraduate mathematics alongside my doctoral research.
